I was born on the 8th of June in Rotterdam. At the age of 14, my hairdresser asked me if he could take some pictures of me. These he took to an agency, who then employed me as a model. In 2002, I was one of the faces of V8, a television channel, now knows as Veronica. We went with 7 girls to Jamaica and one of the girls told me all about Miss Universe, which made me very interested in the competition. So I joined and after many castings, call backs, a trip to Turkey I was chosen as Miss Universe Netherlands 2003. What a great experience,I formed many new contacts, an experience which I will treasure forever. In 2005, the Miss Netherlands organisation asked me to represent Holland at the Miss Europe competition, an opportunity I could not refuse. Again a life changing experience which I will never forget. Currently I work as a model and still love it. I am also inrolled in acting courses and teach models how to walk with confidence.
