Born as Izabela Dorota Skorupko in Białystok to Lech and Magdalena Skorupko, she was only one year old when her parents separated and she came to live with her mother. In 1978, they moved to Bredäng outside of Stockholm, Sweden. Coming to Sweden as an 8 year old, she learned to speak Swedish and English. She worked as a mode and in 1988 she was discovered by director Staffan Hildebrand and starred in the film “Ingen kan älska som vi” ("Nobody can love like us") In the same year she was in the music video for the song “Lilla hjärtat” (“Little sweetheart”) by the group “Kärlekens Vampyrer” (Love’s Vampires) where she is featured naked (www.youtube.com/watch?v=OYy8-ZruFt0). In the early nineties, she also had a brief but successful career as a pop singer, releasing an album (Iza) which went gold in Sweden.[citation needed] In 1996, she married Polish ice hockey player Mariusz Czerkawski, then a player for the Edmonton Oilers. They separated in 1998, and have one daughter together, Julia (born September 16, 1997). On January 30, 2003 she married an American named Jeffrey Raymond; they have a son, Jakob (born July 24, 2003) and live in Los Angeles. Her biggest roll was in the movie GoldenEye, but she has been movies such as Vertical Limit, Exorcist: the Beginning and Cougar Club.
