My name is Imani Halfhide and I’m nineteen years young. Both of my parents are from Surinam and I am of mixed blood with some Chinese and Portuguese in it. I was born in a small city called Arnhem (The Netherlands). After sixteen years of growing up there I moved to Amsterdam. I started modeling in 2009, but it all began in 2007. That is when I got a real sweet gift from a good friend of mine: a photoshoot with a photographer called Raul Neijhorst. I started to post the photos online at several community websites and because of this I got more offers for photoshoots. Because of these I started to build a whole network, which currently continues to increase. So I did some music videos and I also started to dance as a go-go dancer in several clubs. After two years (in 2009) I decided to take modeling more seriously. The last few years I have worked with with different photographers, people like Yossip Brandjes, Robert Player, Rob Henrey, Mark Meijering, Tahir, Ingo Cali and many more. I’ve also worked for some events: Jamrock, Soiree Prestige, Ruffriders anniversary. I collaborated with companies like Passie Magazine, Protailz, Cloxstar.com, Lamor.nl, Skullcandy, Hyundai and many more. Since 2010 I actually know in which direction I want to go to. The soft erotic industry! A lot of people ask me why. First I didn’t really know why, but now I do. First of all I like doing what I love, and that is feeling sexy. Yes I'm doing that by posing naked, or with sexy clothes on, in front of the camera. Many people won’t agree with this or will say you can feel sexy in a different way and they might be right about that but guess what, everyone is different and in the end all roads lead to Rome! I do what I like, and I like what I do! I love going against the flow of life and I don’t care if people, that are afraid of doing what I do envy me for what I like and do. I always say: Live your dreams and face your fears!
